I'm Wade Warren and I am the creator of The FLACS Company.  We make flip flops.  And we've created complimenting stores including GetFLACS.com, Fitica.com, KeyWestSpirit.com, and ModernFamilyStuff.com.

It all started due to the lack of availability of "aesthetic" flip flops for guys.  We'd look ongoing, again and again, and continue to meet disappointment. Guys flip flops are so commonly bulky and fat-strapped.  The standard rubber cheap flip flops actually do have that aesthetic value to them but they're just not nice enough for all occasions that may include an all-American beach resort dinner.   And so it only led to reason that the logical thing to do was to design and build the flip flop that would fill this empty space in the world of flop flop requirements.  And as a travel technologist, during this Covid pandemic, travel jobs are hard to come by, so for me the timing is right.

Because they are and all future designs will be "flaco", we've called them FLACS which is a derivative of the Spanish word flaco which means thin. 

We created a design, hired a technical designer, and submitted our plan to factories.  One of which proved their capacity to build based on quality of workmanship, materials, and overall comfort/feel.  FLACS became a reality. 

Family is important to us and I believe most any human out there. And I figured one way I could contribute to the unity of family is to make FLACS be a shoe everyone could wear together, on vacation, or anywhere socks wouldn't be required.  We built them for guys, gals, and kids.  They're family flip flops.

Then came Fitica, KeyWestSpirit, ModernFamilyStuff.  The online stores for FLACS and products compliment flip flops and the flip flop lifestyle.
